Students from Warwick Schools Foundation’s sixth forms are celebrating outstanding success this results day, with their results a testament to the hard work of both students and staff. In addition to the results themselves, the destinations of Foundation leavers are hugely impressive, with significant numbers of students gaining the grades to secure their first-choice post-school destination.
King’s High School students gained almost half of all grades at A*-A, while 80% of all grades were at A*-B. Destinations for King’s High students include Cambridge, Edinburgh, UCL and Durham in the UK as well as the University of Queensland and the University of British Columbia overseas. Courses chosen by students include Medicine, Law, Veterinary Medicine, Cyber Security and Neuroscience. For those choosing a different path, the destinations are equally impressive, with students gaining degree apprenticeships with companies as prestigious as Unilever.
At Warwick School, where 44.4% of grades were at A or A*, 100 boys gained places at prestigious Russell Group universities, and two thirds of the entire cohort secured their first-choice university. 39 pupils secured all grades at A or above, and 88 pupils achieved ABB or better. Oxbridge, Exeter, Nottingham, UCL and Imperial College are all popular destinations for leavers this year. Courses chosen by pupils include Aerospace Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology and Marine Biology, Computing (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning), Drama and Film, History of Art, Law with Politics, Medicine, Modern Languages, History, Sociology and Criminology and Zoology.
At Kingsley School, 79% of grades achieved by sixth form students were at A*-C, with 100% of C-Tech results being at A*-C equivalent. 83% of students secured their first-choice university place, with 50% of students going to Russell Group universities, including Birmingham, Exeter and Warwick. Courses chosen by students include International Relations with Spanish to Zoology, as well as English Literature, Graphic Design and Psychology.

As well as huge success in public exams and the doors they have opened for the next stage of their journeys, we know that our pupils are also equipped for life beyond our gates, having made the most of the myriad character-forming opportunities which are part of their day-to-day school experience.
