Session fees with funding

Funded sessions – with additional, chargeable sessions

Subject to eligibility, children may receive either 15 funded hours or 30 funded hours per week for 38 weeks of the year. As Explorers is open for 51 weeks per year, we stretch these funded hours evenly across the weeks we are open.

This means:

  • 15 funded hours per week (term time only) = 11 hours 10 minutes per week across 51 weeks
  • 30 funded hours per week (term time only) = 22 hours 20 minutes per week across 51 weeks

If are using funded hours for your child, the equivalent stretched funded entitlement (11 hours 10 minutes or 22 hours 20 minutes each week) will be deducted from your child’s booked sessions before fees are calculated. You will only be charged for any booked session / part session in excess of your funded entitlement.

Details of our session fees and any additional charges can be found above.

Funded sessions – using ONLY funded hours

Parents who wish to ONLY use funded hours, please note that the funded hours are only permitted to be used alone at these times:

For parents who intend to take up Government-funded hours only at Kingsley Explorers, the following will apply: · No registration fee will be needed – contact KE-admissions@warwickschools.co.uk to arrange for the registration fee to be waived

  • If you later decide to take up additional, chargeable hours, a registration fee will be payable at that point
