Designed for Discovery
At Kingsley Explorers, our resources and learning environments are thoughtfully chosen and carefully curated to inspire independence, creativity and curiosity. As a Reggio Emilia-inspired nursery, we believe the environment acts as a ‘third teacher’, providing open-ended opportunities for exploration, problem-solving and imaginative thinking.
Children have access to natural, recycled and authentic resources that can be moved, combined and transformed through their own ideas and interests. From rich sensory and messy play to creative and imaginative experiences, our carefully considered resources encourage children to investigate, experiment and learn through their own discoveries.
Our outdoor environment is an extension of our indoor learning spaces, giving children endless opportunities to explore, investigate and connect with nature. Our much-loved mud kitchens provide a wonderful space for sensory exploration, creativity and collaborative play, where children can mix, create and experiment while developing their confidence, communication and problem-solving skills.
Whether digging, planting, building, climbing or getting delightfully messy, children are encouraged to take risks, follow their curiosity and learn through hands-on experiences in all weathers. With open-ended resources and the freedom to explore, our outdoor spaces offer an environment where children can be active, imaginative and independent in their learning.
Our brand-new, state-of-the-art facilities have been thoughtfully designed to give children the freedom to explore, create and discover from the very beginning.
Every space has been carefully considered to inspire curiosity, encourage independence and support children as they develop their confidence, creativity and sense of wonder.
