All pupils who join us in Year 7 take part in this unique scheme, which provides the opportunity for pupils to play an orchestral instrument, with weekly expert tuition and an instrument to take home for practice. Pupils also take part in a variety of performances and activities throughout the year, and work on projects such as composition, music technology, ensemble skills, improvisation, performance practice, theory and aural skills.

On our Music Scheme Day, pupils rehearsed together with peers playing their chosen instruments, resulting in a final performance in the King's High School Rosconn Auditorium.

We are very proud of everyone’s achievement and look forward to many more opportunities for music-making in the future.
