Administration Assistant (Pupil Activities) -Warwick Preparatory School

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and innovative Administrative Assistant for Pupil Activities on a temporary 6 month maternity cover contract.
The successful candidate for this post will be an enthusiastic, dedicated, and hard working individual, with an excellent eye for detail, extensive communication and good interpersonal skills.
The position is based in our School Office, which is at the heart of our warm and caring school. The office is absolutely vital to the efficient day to day functioning of the school.
The role is part-time, working 20 hours per week Monday to Friday from 10am to 2pm for 39.4 weeks of the year (term time plus INSET days plus 4 weeks). There could be some flexibility with the start and finish times for the successful candidate.
The main duties and responsibilities will be
- leading the administration of the school’s co-curricular clubs and activities using the school’s Virtual Activities Environment
- providing administration/ secretarial support for the Deputy Head, and other members of the Senior Management Team, as agreed
- providing the administrative support for day and residential educational visits, in liaison with the School’s Educational Visits Co-ordinator and sports fixtures and in liaison with the Director of Sport, using the school’s Virtual Activities Environment
- providing administrative support for the Music Department, as agreed with the Director of Music
- liaising with Administration Assistants and Finance Department to administer the billing for all pupils' related activities and instrumental tuition.
The salary range for this role is Point 16 to19 with the actual salary range being £11,930 to £12,450 per annum (the full time equivalent range being £24,871 to £25,956 per annum).
