Foundation pupils to perform alongside TV legend James May

On Friday, 12 September, the King Henry VIII Consort of Warwick Schools Foundation will be performing a musical item at St Mary's Church, Warwick, accompanied by TV legend James May on the piano.
Joining forces with the sensational musicians of Armonico Consort, James May and Oz Clarke are embarking on a charity bike challenge, cycling across the country and stopping at charming pubs and buzzing cafés, where they’ll spontaneously burst into song, share a story or two, and maybe even pour you a glass!
As part of the challenge, the duo will also be performing a series of charity concerts, including at St Mary's Church, Warwick later this month. Every penny raised from the concerts will be used to support Armonico Consort’s vital community outreach work, bringing music and joy to those who need it most.
This is a unique and valuable opportunity for our young musicians, who, as well as James May, will have the chance to perform alongside Armonico’s professional musicians.
We encourage all parents to show your support for our pupils on what is sure to be a fantastic occasion.
