  • Cleaning Operative

    We are seeking to appoint a Cleaning Operative for the Foundation.

    Duties include cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal areas by dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.

    The role also involves sanitising toilets and washrooms, replenishing supplies, emptying bins, and disinfecting high touch surfaces such as door handles and desks. They are expected to report maintenance issues, adhere to cleaning schedules, store materials safely, and act in accordance with the school’s safeguarding policies.

    Hours of work: 4pm to 8pm or 6am to 10am

    Working weeks: 35.4 weeks per year i.e term-time plus inset
    Actual Salary : £10,124 per annum

    FTE Salary: £23,492

  • Senior Catering Assistant

    We are seeking to appoint a pleasant and courteous Senior Catering Assistant to help a busy and thriving Catering Department.

    The post holder will be responsible for the safe preparation and service of all meals and refreshments and ensure that all food to be served is correctly and conspicuously labelled with description, allergen content and relative dietary requirement information in accordance with relevant food labelling legislation.

    The successful applicant will possess good knowledge of food production and experience of working in a commercial catering environment.

    This role will report to Front of House and Hospitality Manager.

    Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week and 36 weeks per year 

    Salary range : Foundation Point 12 (FTE : £23,793) to Point 15 (FTE : £24,623)
                             Actual Salary : Point 12 is £19,553 to Point 15 is £20,234

  • Site Operative (casual)

    We are looking to appoint a Site Operative (Casual).

    They will check to ensure that site is kept free of rubbish, debris and any hazards, raising areas of concern via the help desk or to Operations Supervisor. They will set up rooms for functions as requested, this may include evening or weekend work. They will participate in response for all fire, intruders and emergency response.

    Working hours: As and when required 

    Salary: 

    £14.29 (£12.21 per hour plus £2.08 holiday pay) per hour.

  • Casual Theatre Technicians

    We are seeking to appoint Casual Theatre Technicians.

    Suitable candidates will:

    • Assist with rigging and setting up of lighting sound, A.V. and staging equipment under the direction of the Technical Manager​

    • Operating lighting, sound or video on events​

    • Assist with the setup of A.V. equipment across the Foundation

    • Act as Duty Technician to support in house productions and visiting companies​

    • Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve any problems where possible.​

    • Assist with general technical housekeeping​

    • Maintain a positive relationship with all staff, students and clients, through effective, professional communication.

    Salary: £14.47 per hour (£12.37 plus £2.10 holiday pay)

    Monday-Friday 17:30-21:30
    Saturday-Sunday 08:00-18:00

  • Sports Centre Duty Manager

    We seek an experienced and proactive leader to oversee the daily operations of the WISF Sports Centres, including the Astros, Tennis, and Netball facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the centre, solving any operational challenges, and maintaining the highest standards of service and facility management.

    You will provide transparent, constructive, and timely feedback to staff and offer strong leadership and support in all situations, including emergencies. ​

    This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by leading a dedicated team in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

    Working hours: 37.5 Hours per week, five over seven days per week

    Salary: £26,307 to £28,990
