  • Science Technician / Practical Laboratory Support Assistant (part-time) - Warwick School

    The role of Science Technician at Warwick School is vital for the successful and efficient delivery of the Science curriculum throughout the school.  

    We are looking to appoint a positive, reliable, and knowledgeable individual who can support the staff and students in the department with their experimental work, whilst being a strong team player within a large and very successful academic department.

    The successful candidate will be friendly, positive, articulate, and well-organised, capable of working to deadlines and multi-tasking effectively. They will need an excellent awareness of the health and safety regulations and implications of the work of a busy Science Department.

    The role is 2 or 2.5 days a week, Wednesday to Friday, 35.4 weeks per year (term-time only including INSET days).  Working hours are between 8.30am to 4.30pm, with a 36 minute unpaid lunch break.

    Salary: Point 12 – Point 15, £21,745 - £22,739.  Actual salary will depend on agreed hours.

  • Teaching Assistant - Warwick School

    Warwick School is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to start from 1 September 2024.  The primary duties of Teaching Assistants are to support the development of a pupil with specific needs as well as contributing to the Academic Support and SEN Department.

  • Saturday School Assistant - King's High School

    We are seeking to appoint an outstanding individual on a Saturday morning to welcome children to our Saturday School activities. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact to King’s High School. As many parents will have not visited the school before, a friendly and welcoming manner is essential. The children attending Saturday School are Year 5 pupils from external schools.

    The role is every Saturday morning for termly sessions of approximately 8 weeks with the dates agreed prior to the start of each term. Each session runs from 09:00 to 12:00, with reception being open from 08:45. You will receive full training.

    The salary scale for this role is P12 which equates to £13.39 per hour (£11.44 plus holiday pay £1.95)

  • Headteacher's Personal Assistant and Pastoral Administrator - The Kingsley School

    We are seeking to appoint a highly organised and reliable Personal Assistant to the Headteacher and Pastoral Support Administrator to provide a high standard of secretarial and administrative support. 

    The successful candidate will have experience of successfully providing senior Personal Assistant support, ideally within a school setting. A high level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism is a must. 

    The successful candidate will have the ability and confidence to work independently and will remain calm and professional when under pressure.  They will approach tasks with a positive, can-do attitude, working with accuracy and attention to detail. They must have excellent I.T. skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.

    The hours of work are 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday inclusive from 8am to 5pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch.

    The position is being advertised as full time, all year round, but we would consider full time with a reduction in the weeks worked in the school holidays for the right candidate.

    The salary range for this role is WISF 28 to 31, with the actual starting salary being £34,574 per annum.

  • Administration Assistant (Finance, HR & Health & Safety) - Warwick Preparatory School

    We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and innovative Administration Assistant for Finance, HR and Health & Safety.

    The School Office is open from 7.45am to 5pm Monday to Friday. It is a busy hub at the heart of the school and is absolutely vital to the efficient day to day functioning of the school. It undertakes a multitude of different functions, all of which must be executed in a timely, efficient, and excellent manner.

    The role is part-time, working 25 hours per week, term-time only, inc. INSET Days, plus 4 weeks at 20 hours during the school holidays.  

    The main responsibilities of the position will be

    • liaising with Shared Services Finance team, to provide basic financial administrative support for the School
    • operating the petty cash system and ensuring its compliance with financial controls
    • maintaining and updating fire and security procedures, ensuring the Fire Box is up to date at all times 
    • co-ordinate CPD booking and maintain records
    • update training records
    • provide HR with details of staff absences information and provide Payroll with overtime claims 
    • provision of Health and Safety administration within the school 
    • create and maintain accurate staff records in ISAMS (Management Information System) 
    • place annual stationery order (ESPO) in June and ongoing orders during the year.

    The salary scale for this role is WISF 16 to19 with the actual salary range being £13,561 to £14,541 per annum.

    (The full time equivalent range being £23,085 to £24,754 per annum).

    • providing the administrative support for day and residential educational visits, in liaison with the School’s Educational Visits Co-ordinator and sports fixtures, in liaison with the Director of Sport, using the school’s Virtual Activities Environment.
    • providing administrative support for the Music Department, as agreed with the Director of Music
    • liaising with Admin Assistants and Finance Department to administer the billing for all pupils' related activities and instrumental tuition.

    The salary scale for this role is WISF 16 to19 with the actual salary range being £19,779 to £21,208 per annum (the full time equivalent range being £23,085 to £24,754 per annum).
