  • Cover Lunchtime Supervisor – Warwick Preparatory School

    Warwick Preparatory School is seeking to appoint outstanding Cover Lunchtime Supervisors on a casual contract in term time only. 

    The successful candidates will have excellent communication and people skills, a positive mindset, and a forward-thinking approach to working in a variety of contexts, including in the dining hall, nursery and playgrounds.

    The Lunchtime Supervisors work alongside Teachers and Teaching Assistants to ensure a safe, enjoyable and fully supervised lunch period for all children.

    The school prides itself on its warm and caring ethos. The successful candidates will be enthusiastic, dedicated and hard-working individuals, with good interpersonal skills; with a commitment to traditional values in relation to behaviour, manners, appearance and standards to which the school is strongly wedded.

    Our lunchtime provision operates on a rolling basis, starting with the youngest children going for their lunch at 11.30am and ending with the oldest children returning to class at 1.45pm.

    The role reports to the Head of Prep.

    Salary : £14.47 per hour (£12.37 plus £2.10 holiday pay)

  • Saturday Morning Sports Coaches - King's High School

    King's High School is seeking to appoint enthusiastic sports coaches on a casual basis in a wide range of specialisms. 

    We have a strong sporting ethos in school and compete regularly at national level in hockey, netball and tennis. We are keen to widen our sporting and fitness opportunities to ensure all students regularly participate outside their curriculum lessons.

    We will consider applicants with specialisms in any sport, but are particularly interested with anyone with experience of coaching the following:

    • Football
    • Girls’ rugby
    • Disc golf
    • Volleyball
    • Badminton
    • Fitness
    • Rounders

     The successful candidates will be asked to deliver training sessions throughout the year, ideally on Saturday mornings in the first instance. There may be some opportunity to assist in lessons and expand their contributions if suitable.

    This is an opportunity for self-motivated individuals with a passion and expertise in sport to work with ambitious and talented pupils.

    Experience : Of a relevant nature and preferably experience in teaching young people.

    Qualifications (both professional and teaching) : Coaching qualifications appropriate to the sport. 

    Reporting to: Reporting to the Deputy Head (Co-curricular and Operations) and/or Director of Sport (depending on if curriculum coaching or in co-curricular time).

    Salary : The salary scale for this role P33 – P40 per hour depending on experience.
                   P33 is £23.51 per hour and P40 is £28.07 per hour.

  • Teaching Assistant - Warwick Preparatory School

    Warwick Preparatory School are seeking to appoint an outstanding and innovative Teaching Assistant. The Full-Time Post will be in EYFS (Reception).

    The successful candidate will have an excellent rapport with young children, have relevant experience and qualifications, be committed to the highest standards of educational provision and be in sympathy with the aims and ethos of Warwick Preparatory School.

    Under the direction of the Head of Pre-Prep, the Teaching Assistant will provide support to the pupils in both the curriculum and pastorally, helping to raise standards by ensuring high expectations are set and adhered to.  It will provide support to the teacher by supervising particular activities or groups and general admin support.

    Responsible to: Head of Pre-Prep.

    Working Hours
    7.45am – 4.00pm x 3 days and 7.45 – 5.45pm  x 2 days

    Salary 

    The salary scale for this role is Point 16 – Point 19, £24,871 - £25,956 full-time, £21,303 - £22,233 prorated.

  • School Nurse - Warwick Preparatory School

    We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and innovative School Nurse. The successful applicant will have excellent communication and people skills, a positive mindset, and a forward-thinking approach to school nursing. The post-holder will be able to provide a clinically effective, high-quality service of nursing care to pupils and first aid care to all members of the school community.

    This is part-time position working as part of a job share for 14 hours per week over 2 days, term-time only plus INSET days i.e. 35.4 weeks per year. The working hours are from 8.30am to 4pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. We can be flexible about the days worked for the successful candidate. 

    The position reports to: Head of Prep Department.

    Salary : The pay point for the role is Point 31, £36,558 pa full time, £11,029 pa pro-rated.

  • Administration Assistant (Pupil Activities) -Warwick Preparatory School

    We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and innovative Administrative Assistant for Pupil Activities on a temporary 6 month maternity cover contract.

    The successful candidate for this post will be an enthusiastic, dedicated, and hard working individual, with an excellent eye for detail, extensive communication and good interpersonal skills.

    The position is based in our School Office, which is at the heart of our warm and caring school. The office is absolutely vital to the efficient day to day functioning of the school. 

    The role is part-time, working 20 hours per week Monday to Friday from 10am to 2pm for 39.4 weeks of the year (term time plus INSET days plus 4 weeks). There could be some flexibility with the start and finish times for the successful candidate.

    The main duties and responsibilities will be

    • leading the administration of the school’s co-curricular clubs and activities using the school’s Virtual Activities Environment
    • providing administration/ secretarial support for the Deputy Head, and other members of the Senior Management Team, as agreed
    • providing the administrative support for day and residential educational visits, in liaison with the School’s Educational Visits Co-ordinator and sports fixtures and in liaison with the Director of Sport, using the school’s Virtual Activities Environment
    • providing administrative support for the Music Department, as agreed with the Director of Music
    • liaising with Administration Assistants and Finance Department to administer the billing for all pupils' related activities and instrumental tuition.

    The salary range for this role is Point 16 to19 with the actual salary range being £11,930 to £12,450 per annum (the full time equivalent range being £24,871 to £25,956 per annum).
