  • Saturday School Tutor - King's High School

    We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Tutor to our King’s Saturday School, overseen by the Director of Innovation and Partnerships.

    The successful candidate will have excellent communication and people skills, a positive mindset, and be patient and understanding. They will be able to teach their subject confidently and understand how to support and extend pupils’ learning accordingly. 

    The King’s Saturday School is a new initiative which started in November 2022, working in partnership with four local primary schools to support their Year 5 pupils to ‘get ahead’ in key areas of their Maths, English and Drama learning. This an excellent opportunity for an individual to join our innovative programme and the King’s community. It is a particularly exciting time to be joining the School as we enjoy our superb new facilities at the Myton Road site.

    King’s Saturday School runs on Saturday mornings, usually 8 sessions per term, catering for four groups of Year 5 pupils from 8 local primary schools. The pupils will complete sessions in Maths, English, Drama and Power Skills (max. 10 pupils per group). This role will deliver the Power Skills session which focuses on timetables and spellings, whilst also supporting students with additional needs and providing cover for the other subjects as needed.

    Salary: £32.59 ph.

    Contract type: Casual

  • Graduate Sports Assistant - Warwick School

    Warwick School are looking for an outstanding sportsperson who would like the opportunity to work in both Warwick Junior and Senior Schools. If you are interested in sharing your talents with young people or considering becoming a teacher, then this is the opportunity to develop your teaching and coaching skills whilst gaining experience in both a primary and secondary setting.

    The position is for a 1 year fixed-term contract.

    The salary scale for this role is £22,010 – 37 hours per week for 44.4 weeks per year (all year round). Accommodation may be available, salary with accommodation will be £19,282.  Salary is based on April 2024 rates

  • Casual Sports Coach, Rugby - Warwick School

    Warwick School is seeking to appoint a dynamic, self-motivated, highly organised, and experienced Sports Coach to work within our outstanding PE Department in a school where sport is nationally recognised.

    Warwick School is fortunate that boys have access to outstanding facilities including; ten rugby pitches (one of which is a 3G pitch), two synthetic hockey pitches, a fitness suite, a strength and conditioning gym, two sports halls, two squash courts and a swimming pool.

    The school’s rugby programme provides staff with significant development opportunities as a coach, with mentoring, CPD and significant contact time with a variety of other coaches and coaching groups. Staff will also be entitled to access the school’s gym facilities and have lunch in the school canteen on working days.

    The successful candidate will have the necessary qualifications and experience (Ideally RFU Level 2, 3 or higher) to coach and referee Rugby at both Senior (U12-U18) and Junior (U8-U11) level. The role will principally be to support the School's Rugby Programme during the season, but there may also be additional opportunities to support the Summer Term sports programme - for example coaching athletics, cricket, or tennis.

    Salary Points: 33 - 40, £19.16 per hour (plus £3.26 holiday pay) - £22.88 per hour (plus £3.89 holiday pay).

    Learning Support at King’s is an active and forward-thinking department, and this is an excellent opportunity for an individual to join our innovative Boost Programme and the King’s community. It is a particularly exciting time to be joining the School as we enjoy our superb new facilities at the Myton Road site.

    The department benefits from the excellent links to the schools within the Warwick Independent Schools Foundation and the ‘Warwick Group’; a group of independent HMC/GSA schools in the Midlands. The department currently consists of the full time Head of Department/SENCO, an Assistant to the Head of Learning Support, a part-time teaching assistant and a team of Boost Tutors. All work collaboratively to ensure that every student at King’s can flourish and achieve the highest quality outcomes possible.

    Salary: this is position will be on a casual contract with an hourly rate of £32.59.
