  • Casual Food Science Technician - Warwick School

    Warwick School is looking to appoint a casual Food Technician to start in September 2024 to support our growing Food Science Department.

    The post will be attractive to someone with an understanding and appreciation of the Health and Safety implications of Food Science and who has experience of preparing ingredients.

    Salary: Point 16 - £12.00 per hour plus £2.04 holiday pay (pay award pending).

  • Graduate Sports Assistant - Warwick School

    Warwick School are looking for an outstanding sportsperson who would like the opportunity to work in both Warwick Junior and Senior Schools. If you are interested in sharing your talents with young people or considering becoming a teacher, then this is the opportunity to develop your teaching and coaching skills whilst gaining experience in both a primary and secondary setting.

    The position is for a 1 year fixed-term contract.

    The salary scale for this role is £22,010 – 37 hours per week for 44.4 weeks per year (all year round). Accommodation may be available, salary with accommodation will be £19,282.  Salary is based on April 2024 rates

  • Casual Sports Coach, Rugby - Warwick School

    Warwick School is seeking to appoint a dynamic, self-motivated, highly organised, and experienced Sports Coach to work within our outstanding PE Department in a school where sport is nationally recognised.

    Warwick School is fortunate that boys have access to outstanding facilities including; ten rugby pitches (one of which is a 3G pitch), two synthetic hockey pitches, a fitness suite, a strength and conditioning gym, two sports halls, two squash courts and a swimming pool.

    The school’s rugby programme provides staff with significant development opportunities as a coach, with mentoring, CPD and significant contact time with a variety of other coaches and coaching groups. Staff will also be entitled to access the school’s gym facilities and have lunch in the school canteen on working days.

    The successful candidate will have the necessary qualifications and experience (Ideally RFU Level 2, 3 or higher) to coach and referee Rugby at both Senior (U12-U18) and Junior (U8-U11) level. The role will principally be to support the School's Rugby Programme during the season, but there may also be additional opportunities to support the Summer Term sports programme - for example coaching athletics, cricket, or tennis.

    Salary Points: 33 - 40, £19.16 per hour (plus £3.26 holiday pay) - £22.88 per hour (plus £3.89 holiday pay).

  • Boost Tutors in Maths, Science or English - King's High School

    The successful candidates will have excellent communication and people skills, a positive mindset, and be patient and understanding. They will be able to teach their subject confidently and understand how to support and extend students’ learning accordingly. 

    Learning Support at King’s is an active and forward-thinking department, and this is an excellent opportunity for an individual to join our innovative Boost Programme and the King’s community. It is a particularly exciting time to be joining the School as we enjoy our superb new facilities at the Myton Road site.

    The department benefits from the excellent links to the schools within the Warwick Independent Schools Foundation and the ‘Warwick Group’; a group of independent HMC/GSA schools in the Midlands. The department currently consists of the full time Head of Department/SENCO, an Assistant to the Head of Learning Support, a part-time teaching assistant and a team of Boost Tutors. All work collaboratively to ensure that every student at King’s can flourish and achieve the highest quality outcomes possible.

    Salary: this is position will be on a casual contract with an hourly rate of £32.59.

  • Administration Assistant (Pupil Activities) -Warwick Preparatory School

    We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and innovative Administrative Assistant for Pupil Activities.

    The successful candidate will work in the School Office which is open from 7.45am to 5pm Monday to Friday. It is a busy hub at the heart of the school and is absolutely vital to the efficient day to day functioning of the school. It undertakes a multitude of different functions, all of which must be executed in a timely, efficient, and excellent manner.

    The role is full-time, working 37.5 hours per week, term-time only inc. INSET Days, plus 4 weeks at 20 hours during the school holidays. 

    The main duties and responsibilities will be

    • leading the administration of the school’s co-curricular clubs and activities using the school’s Virtual Activities Environment
    • providing admin/secretarial support for the Deputy Head, and other members of the Senior Management Team, as agreed
    • providing the administrative support for day and residential educational visits, in liaison with the School’s Educational Visits Co-ordinator and sports fixtures, in liaison with the Director of Sport, using the school’s Virtual Activities Environment
    • providing administrative support for the Music Department, as agreed with the Director of Music
    • liaising with Admin Assistants and Finance Department to administer the billing for all pupils' related activities and instrumental tuition.

    The salary scale for this role is WISF 16 to19 with the actual salary range being £19,779 to £21,208 per annum (the full time equivalent range being £23,085 to £24,754 per annum).

  • Teaching Assistant - Warwick Preparatory School

    We are seeking to appoint two outstanding and innovative Teaching Assistants from September 2024. One position is full-time on a fixed-term one year contract and the other part-time. 

    The successful candidates will have an excellent rapport with young children, have relevant experience and qualifications, be committed to the highest standards of educational provision and be in sympathy with the aims and ethos of Warwick Preparatory School. 

    The Teaching Assistants will provide support to the pupils in both the curriculum and pastorally, helping to raise standards by ensuring high expectations are set and adhered to.  They will provide support to the teacher by supervising particular activities or groups and general admin support (marking, photocopying etc.  

    The positions are working Monday to Friday with the actual working times are:

     Full Time – 7.45am – 4.00pm x 4 days and 7.45am – 5.45pm x 1 day.

    Part Time – 7.45am – 4.00pm x 2 days and 7.45am – 5.45pm x 1 day.

    The salary scale for this role is Point 16 to Point 19:  

    FTE: £23,085 - £24,754 per annum. (The annual pay will be paid pro rata in accordance with the agreed hours of work).
