  • 2ND Line Support Engineer - Foundation IT

    We are seeking a 2nd Line Support Engineer for our Foundation IT team. The Digitally Enabled Learning Strategy will require high-quality, effective support for students and staff within each school. Students and staff need to be confident that when an issue arises it can be addressed in a timely manner and that they are kept fully informed about the progress of any resolution when an issue cannot be resolved immediately. 

    The Foundation IT Team provides IT support for all staff, students and parents across the Foundation, working under the leadership of the Foundation IT Team Manager and the direction of the Director of Digitally Enabled Learning.

    Working as part of the Foundation IT Team, you will provide the following:

    • support for the delivery of the Foundation-wide SLA across all schools and departments;
    • an initial point of contact for staff and students requiring help with IT issues and queries. 

    • proactive maintenance for IT systems and software; 

    • accurate service desk information to enable the analysis of issues and effective configuration recording and management.

    Hours of Work: 37.5hrs per week, all year round.

    Pay Banding: WISF Support Scale range 25 – 28 (£29,554 - £32,413)

    Location: On Site, Warwick campus.

    Start Date: 29/07/2024

    Reporting Lines: the post holder will report to the Foundation IT Team Manager

  • FOUNDATION DIRECTOR OF FINANCE

    The Foundation is seeking to appoint an exceptional Director of Finance to provide strategic leadership and operational delivery of the finance function. Reporting to the Foundation Bursar and a key member of the Professional Services Senior Leadership Team, the Director of Finance will work in close partnership with the Foundation Principal, the five Heads and Directors of Professional Services and will lead a large, highly skilled team responsible for all financial operations within and across the Schools, central charity and commercial operations. They will play a critical role in helping to deliver the Foundation’s strategic plan and capital development programme through excellent financial planning and efficient use of resources whilst seeking out and pursuing opportunities for effective treasury management and income generation.

    The successful candidate will bring rigour and professionalism to the financial practices across the Foundation and will demonstrate proven ability in senior leadership and financial control within complex organisations, managing people and resources effectively, delivering results and inspiring and motivating others. They will need to demonstrate high energy, the ability to think and communicate with clarity, with the facility to execute efficiencies and improvement initiatives that will drive the Foundation’s financial success.

  • Sports Centre Duty Supervisor - Professional Services

    We are looking for a Sports Centre Duty Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operation of the WISF Sports Centre.

    Key accountabilities include:

    • During the school day: lifeguarding all pool sessions. Monitoring pool plant. The cleaning and upkeep of sports centre and facilities. H&S and compliance. Sports Centre administration and First aid.
    • During the Evening: Lifeguarding. Responsible for all clubs and visitors/staff to sports centres and facilities. Monitoring pool plant. Cleaning and upkeep of sports centres and facilities. H&S and compliance. Sports Centre administration and first aid.
    • During the Weekend: Responsible for all clubs, visitors, and staff at sports centres and facilities. Running swim school and ensuring swimming teachers' provision. Monitoring pool plant. Cleaning and upkeep of sports centre and associated facilities. H&S and compliance. Sports Centre administration and first aid.

    Hours of Work:

    37.5 hours a week, five over seven days a week, all year round, on a three-week rota, including one in three weekends. At weekends, we are only open until 18:00.

    Pay Banding: £24,754 - £27,279 (Points 19-23)

    Location: On-Site / Warwick Campus

    Start Date: As soon as possible.

    Reporting Lines: The post holder will report to the Sports Centre Operations Manager.

    Warwick Schools Foundation are looking to appoint Casual Sports Coaches from a variety of backgrounds to help a busy and thriving department with up-and-coming sport camps and activities!

    Duties of the role include: 

    • To plan, set up and deliver sport specific classroom based and physical sessions based on the chosen sport of the camp that meet the camps age criteria and needs (dependent on qualifications) and to undertake all administrative tasks associated with the position, including Camp registers. 
    • Coaches to provide supervision and direction to Sport Camp Assistants & participants. 
    • Sport Camp Assistants to aid coaches with session and activity needs. 

    Hours of Work: Casual – Zero Hour contract. Typical working hours are 8:30am – 3.30pm with subject to camp needs. Camps will be during school holidays

    Pay Banding: Point 33 – £19.19 per hour + holiday pay (£22.42 total)

  • Kitchen Porter (Professional Services)

    We are seeking to appoint two Kitchen Porters across our Foundation to support the Head Chef with the daily provision of meals and refreshments for the pupils and staff at both Warwick School and Warwick Preparatory School.

    This will involve assisting in the preparation and service of all meals and refreshments, ensuring the kitchen and dining rooms are cleaned and maintained to a high standard both during and after service, and correctly storing, labelling, and rotating food items. The successful applicant will have previous experience working in a busy catering environment and an appreciation of cleanliness and hygiene standards.

    The working hours are:

    • Warwick Prep School: 37.5 hours per week, 07:30am – 3:30pm (Monday – Friday)
    • Warwick School: 37.5 hours per week, work pattern to be confirmed (Monday – Friday)

    Salary: £22,011 per annum (Fixed Point 11 of the Foundation’s Support Pay scales).
