  • Cleaning Operatives (Professional Services)

    We are seeking to appoint a number of Cleaning Operatives to support our Foundation Estates & Operations Department, providing an essential service throughout the Foundation.

    Shift patterns available are:

    • 6am – 9am and/or 4pm – 7pm (all year round)

    Salary: Support staff point 11 – £11.16 per hour.

    The successful applicant will ideally have previous relevant experience; however, what is most important is a willingness to learn and a positive, can-do attitude.

  • Head Chef (Professional Services)

    We are seeking to appoint a Head Chef to help a busy and thriving Warwick School Catering Department to ensure an exceptional standard of food is delivered to our Day Students and Boarders & functions and events. 

    Do you thrive in a busy kitchen, supported by a brigade?

    Reporting into the Executive Head Chef for the Foundation, you’ll be managing the kitchen on a day-to-day basis. You will be responsible for delivering excellent service, ensuring the quality of the food is to a high standard and provide ongoing training to your team.

    What will I do?

    Ensure food being prepared and leaving the kitchen is to a high standard and consistent.

    Purchasing of food and relation items from nominated suppliers.

    Keeping with in et budget.

    Attend Food Forum, Food committee and Operational Meetings.

    Work closely with Front of House Staff.

    Identify your individual team’s areas of development and provide relevant training.

    The role is for approximately 37.5 hours per week, all year round. Exact working pattern to be confirmed but the successful candidate will work for 8 hours per day (with a 30 minute unpaid break), working 5 out of 7 days per week. 

    The salary scale for this role is Point 33 – to Point 36

    • FTE £37,371 - £40,421

  • Sports Centre Duty Supervisor (Professional Services)

  • Kitchen Store Person (Professional Services)

    We are seeking to appoint a Kitchen Store Person to help a busy and thriving Catering Department. The successful candidate will have experience of working in a catering environment or similar and will have the ability to demonstrate good food handling and production techniques.

    Duties of the Kitchen Store Person include:

    • To manage and control all goods-in and storage areas.
    • To liaise directly with suppliers if there are any stock issues such as poor quality, damaged or missing items, ensuring the Senior Sous Chef is made aware.
    • To effectively stock rotate all areas.
    • To ensure there is correct segregation between cooked and raw items as well as allergenic foods.

    We are seeking to appoint two Kitchen Porters across our Foundation to support the Head Chef with the daily provision of meals and refreshments for the pupils and staff at both Warwick School and Warwick Preparatory School.

    This will involve assisting in the preparation and service of all meals and refreshments, ensuring the kitchen and dining rooms are cleaned and maintained to a high standard both during and after service, and correctly storing, labelling, and rotating food items. The successful applicant will have previous experience working in a busy catering environment and an appreciation of cleanliness and hygiene standards.

    The working hours are:

    • Warwick Prep School: 37.5 hours per week, 07:30am – 3:30pm (Monday – Friday)
    • Warwick School: 37.5 hours per week, work pattern to be confirmed (Monday – Friday)

    Salary: £21,472 per annum (Fixed Point 11 of the Foundation’s Support Pay scales).
