  • Head of Sociology (Warwick School)

    Published 04/12/23

An experienced and committed Sociology teacher is required from September 2024 for an exciting new role at Warwick School.

Sociology is a new subject here at Warwick School and we begin teaching it for the first time from September 2024, with the intention of offering the AQA A-Level Sociology Course. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to design the department from scratch.

We are very fortunate to have close ties with our sister school, King’s High, who share a site with us. We therefore envisage that the post holder will work closely with relevant staff at both schools. This should prove to be a fruitful source for sharing good practice and for other cross-school ventures.

As the subject builds, it would be helpful if the candidate offered another subject. The ability to teach A-Level Politics and History to GCSE Level, would be an advantage.

This is an exciting opportunity to join and build your own department in a successful school with ambitious plans for the subject.

The Warwick Schools Foundation has its own salary scale and salary will be determined according to qualifications and experience. For further information, please refer to the Applicant Information Pack below.

The closing date for applications is 12 noon on Wednesday 10th January 2024.
