Warwick School is seeking an inspirational and committed teacher to teach English from January 2026. This is a full-time permanent role that would suit someone new to the profession or a more experienced teacher.

This is a great opportunity for a highly qualified and experienced individual, as the school seeks to build on the success of winning Independent Boys School of the Year for 2022 and deliver on our vision of being the most inspiring, rounded, and caring boys’ school in the UK.

English department at school is a group of dedicated and enthusiastic professionals who are keen to drive creativity and academic rigour in the school. The majority of teachers have their own classrooms which are fully equipped with an interactive screen and laptop that can be cast to the board. 

Independent learning is at the heart of what we do and as such we have an impressive array of extra-curricular activities. Book clubs, creative writing groups and debating teams are offered to every year group and we have a publication, The WordsWorth dedicated to students’ work. We are extremely fortunate to have the RSC and the Bridge House Theatre on our doorstep, both of which enable us to offer regular theatre trips. We try too to widen the cultural experiences of the boys with literary dinners, regular speakers and trips to ‘The Globe’ and other London theatre. Where possible we work with King’s High School in arranging our extra-curricular provision to encourage healthy debate between the two schools.
