Teacher of Sport - King's High School
Kings High School is seeking to appoint a Full-Time Teacher of Sport with a specialism in Netball and / or athletics, from September 2025.
The post will be attractive to someone who wishes to work with one of the top Sports Departments in the country and to contribute to the School's rich sporting life as part of a talented and hard-working department. This is an excellent opportunity for an innovative practitioner to develop their skills and experience in a highly successful department. It is a particularly exciting time to be joining the school as we enjoy our superb new facilities at the Myton Road site.
We are open to candidates with a range of specialisms; however our preference will be for those who can lead netball and / or athletics to a high level.
The appointee will also work closely with senior staff in the other Foundation Schools to ensure coordination and consistency and that pupils at King's High School benefit from the best of both worlds. They will report directly to the Director of Sport at King's High.
The key areas of responsibility and duties which attach to the position are set out below, although the list is not exhaustive, and the successful candidate may be expected to assume additional responsibilities as reasonably requested by the Head.
Should you wish to apply for this role please complete both parts of the application form and send it to hr@warwickschools.co.uk.
Please refer to the attached Applicant Information Pack for a detailed job description and further details.
The closing date for submitting the completed application form is Monday 19th May 2025 at 12pm. Interviews to the shortlisted candidates will be held Thursday 22nd May or Friday 23rd May 2025.
