We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Boarding Housekeeper.
The Boarding House Keeper will report directly to School House Matron. The key areas of responsibility and duties which attach to the position are set out below.

To be responsible for cleaning designated areas within the boarding house as directed by the School House Matron

Cleaning duties will include but are not limited to, cleaning designated bedrooms, communal rooms, corridors, bathrooms and toilets.

General awareness of health and safety within the boarding house and reporting any concerns to the matron or Head of Boarding

To comply with School Health and Safety policies and procedures

Report and issues that require repair / maintenance

Attend relevant training courses including Child Protection, Manual Handling , COSSH awareness and Fire Safety

The Successful applicant will be expected to work 190 days per year which includes the preparation of the boarding house at the beginning and end of each term.
Working weeks: 37.4 weeks
Working hours: 29 hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 1:00pm and Sundays 4 hours
Salary:
- Actual Salary: £15,510
- FTE Salary all year round, 37 hours a week: £23,492
