Examinations Manager
We are seeking to appoint a full-time Examinations Manager to oversee all aspects of examinations management (public and internal) within the school and undertake some administrative duties.
As sole Examinations Manager, the successful candidate will be able to work independently and be pro-active in ensuring all aspects of exams processes are effectively covered. They will have excellent communication and interpersonal skill and a keen eye for detail, the lead in managing the examinations for the School. They will be able to deal sensitively with a variety of situations with teachers, examination invigilators, pupils, parents and examination board representatives. The ability to be clear and assertive whilst remaining calm, composed, tactful and flexible is essential. Candidates must have a detailed understanding of JCQ and exam board regulatory requirements.
The post-holder will need to be available to work during the summer holidays, particularly in August, in order to process examination results and appeals when they come in.
Examination entry will include all public examinations entries such as GCSEs, iGCSEs, and A level, as well as Lamda exam entries and Duke of Edinburgh award entries, although this list is not exhaustive.
The salary scale for this role is Point 28 to Point 31
- FTE: £32,621 - £35,563
- For 37.5 hours during term-time and 20 hours for 6 weeks in the holidays
